So I was on Netflix the other day preparing to watch a few episodes of Prison Break when an "advert" popped up showing me a netflix original series called Samurai Gourmet.(https://shuffleonline.files.wordpress.com/2017/01/samurai-gourmet-netflix-banner.png)
I started to watch the first episode and at first I wasn't sure, hovering over the skip button but boy am I glad I stayed. The series is based on a comic/manga called Kodoku no Gourmet written by Masayuki Qusumi and illustrated by Jiro Taniguchi. The story starts with a recently retired, 60 year old man called Takeshi Kasumi. Takeshi decides to go for a walk and is struggling with the lack of things to do when he stumbles apon a resturant. I won't spoil the rest :P I had an ear to ear grin on my face for the whole episode, It felt very anime like even though it was live action. I really suggest people take the time to watch it.
In fact, I was so inspired by the food scenes I decided to make some raman and miso soup for myself the next morning for breakfast.(http://i.picresize.com/images/2017/03/23/1MLpQ.jpg)
I feel like this would be the cause of a weightwatchers subscription.
