What is Discord?

Discord is a free VoIP application and is developed by Discord Inc. The original concept appeared in 2010 and was released to the public in 2015. By the start of 2016, Discord already had 3 million users. Discord claimed they had a growth of 1 million users a month and reached 11 million users by July 2016. By the end of the year, they reported that they had 25 million users worldwide.
